Project Case: Aircraft Brake Components

This product is made of titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V) – with a high strength-to-weight ratio and excellent corrosion resistance. It is machined using our advanced 5-axis CNC machining equipment. Depending on the specific interface and function, the tolerance is controlled to ±0.005 mm. Flatness, concentricity and perpendicularity meet strict requirements to ensure its correct fit and function in the brake mechanism.

 

We also use shot peening on this product. Improve fatigue resistance in high stress areas and also improve compatibility with thermal expansion of surrounding components.

Finally, we verify the strict dimensional tolerances through coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on the inside of the product. Enables customized products to comply with aviation standards such as AMS, ASTM or ISO.
